Not only can we go home 2hours earlier than any other school days but we also dont have to worry about homework and stuff. That's why i got the time to blog. haha.
I don't know why, but this week seemed pretty fast. Lessons are kinda interesting for this past few days(except for Emath class-mrs. peh, i want you back) And this might sound a bit crazy, but i kinda miss band practice. The tiredness, the scoldings and the crooked-thumb, pain-killing clarinet(:
The oh so poor clarinet hidden in the dusty old cupboard, abandoned, anti-grease and left untouched for quite some time now.
Sheesh.. all thanks to H1N1.
Talking about after-school activities, i had this poly[Ngee Ann]experience just yesterday.
And it was SUPER fun. Never regret choosing Life and Heath SCIENCE as my first choice.
The lecturer, doc...something....(i forgot her name) or should i say, the 'mad scientist'-she said she wanted to be one. haha. was very funny! i kept laughing whenever she starts her 'madness'. A fun teacher which im hoping to have one(:
She also did some really cool practical for us to be amazed and to keep the laughter going.
And before we left the lecture hall , we got the chance to eat Liquid Nitrogen Biscuit.( biscuit dipped in liquid nitrogen) It was really cool coz the gas would go through our noses like a fire-breathing dragon. WELL, except that it wasn't fire and we aren't dragons. haha. OK, that was lame...
And after that, we were splitted into smaller groups. And that's when the interesting part began. We went to different stations to learn more about Health science. Like, there were almost-human-like dummies and Blood which always scares us.
They taught us how to give birth to a baby(it was a baby boy! haha), how the operations were like and stuff like that.. with all those demonstrations and everything, it really amazed me.
And before we knew it, our other classmates from other courses were already waiting for us in the bus...ready to head back.
